Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts are initially evaluated by the Editors. At this stage the Editors may return a paper to the author (s) if it clearly does not match the journal's stated interests or level of quality. Those submissions that meet the minimum criteria are normally passed on to at least one expert for review.

  • JART employs single-blind reviewing, in which the reviewer is unknown to the author, but the identity of the author is known to the reviewer.
