In this paper, we introduce affine-type pairs on locally compact hypergroups and study their ergodicity and weakly ergodicity. Among other results, we give some applicable sufficient conditions for that an affine-type pair to be strongly totally dissipative. Inspiring the main results and concepts of this paper, the ergodicity on hypergroups can be studied extensively.
